Concerns grow for missing Kent teen spotted at Glasgow shopping centre

A missing teen who was spotted in Glasgow after travelling from England has sparked a frantic police search. Klevisa Balla left Westgate-on-Sea in Kent on Monday, August 8.

The 17-year-old is believed to have made her way to the Scottish city in a dark brown Vauxhall Astra. She was seen at the Silverburn shopping centre in the Pollok area around 2.15pm on Wednesday, August 10.

She was also sighted in the Millbrae Road area in Newlands on the same date. Klevisa is described as 5ft 6ins tall with shoulder length, reddish/brown hair.

Cops are now calling on the public's help as part of their ongoing enquiries to trace the young woman as worries mount for her wellbeing. Anyone who has any information on her whereabouts is being urged to come forward.

Police Constable Mark Barr said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Klevisa’s welfare and want to trace her to make sure she is safe and well.

“If anyone has seen her or knows where she is then please get in touch with us via 101, quoting incident number 0357 of Tuesday, 9 August, 2022."
