Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing teenage girl.

They said Hayley McNally, 15, was last seen at her home in Amaroo about 10.30pm Saturday.

"She is described as having a fair complexion, about 182cm (6') tall, with long, dark brown hair, brown eyes and of medium build. She may be wearing glasses, a puffy black and red jacket and light blue tracksuit pants," they said in a statement.

"Police are seeking to locate Hayley as there are concerns for her welfare and seek the public's assistance in locating her."

They asked anyone who had seen her or who knew where she might be to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 and quote reference 6544574.
