Concern growing for missing Durham teenager who may have travelled to Oxford

Police searching for a missing County Durham teenager believe she may have travelled to Oxford.

Lucy Taylor, 19, has been missing from her Bishop Auckland home since Friday, July 5, and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

They are now appealing for help from the public to track her down and have released her picture in a bid to try and trace her.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Lucy Taylor.

"The 19-year-old has been missing from Bishop Auckland since Friday, July 5 and we believe she may be in the Oxford area. 

"If you see Lucy please call 101 quoting incident number 108 of July 8."
