Concern is growing for a man missing from home who was last seen wearing slippers.
John Vaughan, 63, of Kimblesworth, near Chester-le-Street, left his home on Tuesday but has not been seen since.
Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He is described as being 5ft 10ins, white with grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey top, grey joggers and slippers.
John is believed to have shaved his beard since the photo of him was taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting reference number 3 of June 12.
