The full game may only be releasing in October, but there's also a way to play early with the Battlefield 6 Beta. If you're a fan of testing out games before they are fully out, then here's exactly how to play the beta for Battlefield 6, the dates, and even how to join the beta early access.
Battlefield 6 Beta Schedule - Important Dates
If you want to play the Battlefield 6 Beta, then the first thing you'll want to know are the exact dates for when it will go live. We're unsure if there will be any additional Battlefield 6 Beta dates in September, so if you're excited to play the game early, then you'll have to tune in in August.
Early Access
You can join Battlefield 6 Early Access on August 7, 2025 at 8AM UTC/ 1AM PT, but keep in mind that this is closed access (not everyone can join).
If you've signed up for Battlefield Labs prior to July 31, then you will have Early Access to the game on these two days. All you have to do is log in with the account that is registered for Battlefield Labs. However, if you didn't sign up on time, then you will need a Beta code to get the Battlefield 6 Beta early access. However, these codes are only available during the July 31 reveal streams on Twitch. If you missed them, then you'll have to wait for the Open Beta weekend.
Open Beta Weekends
if you couldn't snatch the Early Access, you can instead play the game on the Battlefield 6 Open Beta weekends. Here is the exact date schedule when you can join the game without needing a code (free for everyone!)
- August 9 (8AM UTC/ 1AM PT) - August 11 (8AM UTC/ 1AM PT)
- August 14 (8AM UTC/ 1AM PT) - August 17 (8AM UTC/ 1AM PT)
Preload Information
If you don't want to waste any of your precious early access and beta time for Battlefield 6, then you should make sure to pre-load the game. You can do so from August 4 at 3PM UTC / 8AM PT.
How to Play Battlefield 6 Beta?
If you want to make sure you get everything in order before the beta weekend, follow our Battlefield 6 Beta download guide below.
For starters, you'll want to make sure that your EA account is linked to your platform. If you are on PC, you can do so by:
- Logging into your EA account
- Switching to the Connected Accounts Tab
- Connect to any available platform/app that you have.
For Xbox and PlayStation 5, so long as you log in with the same email address that you use for your console account, then these should have linked automatically. You'll receive a one-time code to verify the account, but after that, your accounts will be linked.
If you've made sure to have your accounts link beforehand, you can also pre-load the game on August 4 so that you can have access as soon as the Battlefield 6 Open Beta goes live. If you're on PC, then make sure to also check the minimum and recommended PC requirements below to see if your setup can run the game properly.
