Commuters are facing delays on the motorways this morning due to a broken down car.
One lane has been shut on the M62 Eastbound between junction 11 — Birchwood — and junction 12, the Eccles Interchange for the M602 and M60.
The incident occurred at around 7:30am on Monday morning, October 4.

A tweet from Highways England’s North West division said: “The #M62 eastbound #J11 (#WarringtonEast #Birchwood #A574) to #J12 (#EcclesInterchange #M60 #M602) 1 lane has been closed due to a broken down vehicle.
“Traffic Officers & Recovery are on their way to the area.”
Inrix, a traffic and travel monitoring service, was reporting that traffic was ‘coping well’ immediately after the lane was closed.
“One lane closed due to [a] broken down vehicle on M62 Eastbound between J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) and J12 M60 M602 (Eccles Interchange),” its report added.
“Traffic is coping well. Lane one (of four) is closed.”
