BHUBANESWAR: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-2022) for admissions to various undergraduate courses/programmes offered by central and other participating universities/institutes across the country for the academic year 2022-23.
Applications have been invited from students for the test between April 6 and May 6. It will be conducted in the first and second week of July. The students can appear for the examination in computer-based test mode. They will get 195 minutes for slot I and 225 minutes for slot II to answer multiple-choice questions in 13 languages, including Odia.
The CUET (UG) 2022 will provide a single-window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the central universities (CUs) across the country for various UG programmes. Odisha has a central university in Koraput district.
The University Grants Commission has invited all state universities, deemed to be universities, private universities and other higher education institutions to use CUET score to admit students in UG courses.
UGC sources said this examination is an attempt to save students from appearing in multiple entrance tests, conducted on different dates.
