Comedian Bobby Davro announces prostate cancer diagnosis despite experiencing no symptoms

Bobby Davro has announced his prostate cancer diagnosis, issuing a plea for others to undergo checks.

The comedian, 67, told This Morning he received his cancer diagnosis after experiencing no symptoms. A friend urged him to undergo a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) test due to his age; he later underwent a biopsy and received his diagnosis.

Davro urged viewers to get a PSA test, which is a blood test to help check for conditions such as prostate cancer or an enlarged prostate, and have their prostate examined.

He recalled how he cried when a urologist told him the cancer was not terminal, and that he would be "buying Christmas presents for many years to come."
