'Come on' - Callum Wilson couldn't believe who scored for Liverpool at Leicester

Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson shared his reaction to Liverpool doubling their lead against Leicester City.

Wilson was recording his podcast during Liverpool’s 3-0 win over the Foxes at the King Power Stadium on Monday night. The victory ensures Liverpool moved within a point of third-placed Newcastle and fourth-placed Manchester United.

Two goals in three minutes before the break put the Reds in command of the game. And while recording his Footballer’s Football Podcast, Wilson was surprised by the identity of the player who got them both.

“Ahh, Liverpool 2-0 up, I don’t want to hear that right now, blud,” the England international screamed as he was filming his podcast.

“Come on, I need them to lose. Oh my God. What’s Curtis Jones doing as well?! He doesn’t even score goals. He is scoring two.

Michail Antonio, who co-hosts the podcast with Wilson, was laughing in the background and he proceeded to add: “This audio is staying in, by the way. This is staying in!”

Wilson then added: “Curtis Jones, two out of everyone. He’s banging them and that.”

Liverpool have played one match more than Newcastle, whose game in-hand comes at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.
