Kicking things off will be Head Chef Sebastian and General Manager Alex of The Cloak and Dagger's, an Independent Grass Roots Venue. They are certain that their outstanding menu, which also reflects their commitment to sustainability, will be a hit.

Sebastian claims to have worked at a three Michelin star restaurant and has expertise working at luxury dining establishments. The Cloak and Dagger prides itself on offering a range of events. From live music and comedy to life drawing and drag performances.

Next up, Rich, the owner of The Boars Head, and Chef Kim will be showcasing their "British Country food" in an effort to wow the other contenders. According to the pair, they have a customer who travels three hours solely to have their food.

The pub describe their establishment as "a friendly little Village Pub where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend."

The last contestants fighting for the prize are Rodrigo and Shamil, owners of the Sri Lankan restaurant The Coconut Tree. The duo are confident that they will add fun to the show and that they will "definitely be the winners."

The Coconut Tree was started by five friends in 2016 with the aim of offering authentic Sri Lankan small plates served in a relaxed ‘island vibe’ setting, with great hospitality and upbeat music. There are now nine sites across England and Wales.

They just marked their sixth anniversary since their initial Cheltenham opening, and they thanked everyone for their support over the years in an Instagram post.

Come Dine With Me: The Professionals began in June 2022, Channel 4 commissioned the series as a Come Dine With Me spin off which sees teams of professional chefs and restaurateurs take each other on in a bid to be crowned the best independent restaurant in their area.

The Bristol episode of Come Dine With Me: The Professionals will air on Channel 4 this evening at 5 o'clock. To find out who wins, tune in.
