The Indianapolis Colts knew entering the offseason that the wide receiver corps needing some upgrading, which ultimately led to them adding a new face in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Background
Needing to add some speed and YAC ability to the offense, the Colts went and selected Campbell in the second round of the draft hoping he can quickly make an impact from the slot.
Though the majority of Campbell’s collegiate career at Ohio State was quiet, his senior season was outstanding. He finished catching 90 passes for 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns.
2019 Outlook
There is plenty of hype surrounding Campbell and his prospects for the 2019 season simply given how well he fits into what the Colts want to do on the offensive side of the ball.
Though the wide receiver room is currently crowded, Campbell should be able to compete for the WR3 role quickly. His speed and abilities as a ball carrier should give him an advantage over the rest of the room save for T.Y. Hilton.
The Colts are also likely to use Campbell as a gadget player getting him some looks in unique situations on reverses and also as a punt returner.
Bottom Line
Campbell brings a lot of excitement to the offense given what he can do for quarterback Andrew Luck. It might be a while before he becomes a starter, but keeping his speed off of the field for a prolonged period of time wouldn’t be wise.
