Colts sign DT Chunky Clements

The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive tackle Chunky Clements and waived defensive tackle Johnny Robinson, the team announced Tuesday.

Clements, 24, initially signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. He attended Illinois in college, playing 46 games while recording 99 tackles and 22.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks.

Clements has also played for the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams since entering the league. In two games with the former in 2017, Clements recorded 0.5 sacks and two tackles.

Robinson was one of the undrafted free agents that signed with the Colts following the team’s rookie minicamp at the beginning of May. He attended the three-day minicamp on a tryout basis.
