Colts open as 1.5-point home favorites vs. Texans in Week 7

Fresh off the bye week, the Indianapolis Colts (3-2) are preparing to host the Houston Texans (4-2) at Lucas Oil Stadium in a crucial Week 7 matchup.

While both teams upset the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in consecutive weeks, the Colts are the ones favored slightly by 1.5 points—likely due to the home-field advantage—per BetMGM. The over/under for the divisional matchup sits at 48.5 to open the week.

As the Texans have a half-game lead over the Colts in the division, this matchup is a crucial one for the entire AFC South. The Texans have been dealing with injuries while the Colts could get some healthy players back this week, including All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard.

The Colts have dominated the last five games against the Texans with four of the matchups resulting in wins for the former. Much of it has to do with the stellar play of T.Y. Hilton, who has historically torched the Texans secondary throughout his career.

This should be an exciting and close matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Colts open the week as slight home favorites.
