Colin Lees traced: 74-year-old Fife man reported missing is safe and well

An elderly Fife man who was reported missing after heading off for a walking trip last week has been traced.

Colin Lees (74) left his home in Dunfermline on Friday and headed towards the Glencoe area. His white Fiat Ducato campervan was seen on the A82 later that day, but this was the last sighting of his vehicle.

Police on Tuesday issued an appeal for information, saying that he hadn't been in touch with friends or family since and fears were growing for his welfare.

However they have now confirmed that he has since been in touch with family, and he is safe and well.
