Colin Farrell plays gambling addict in new thriller from Conclave director

  • A trailer has been released for "Ballad of a Small Player", a new Netflix film starring Colin Farrell.
  • Farrell portrays Lord Doyle, a high-stakes gambling addict in Macau, often dubbed the "Las Vegas of Asia".
  • Directed by Edward Berger, the film follows Doyle as his past and debts catch up with him, encountering a kindred spirit who might offer salvation.
  • The thriller will be released in select US cinemas on 15 October, in the UK two days later, and will drop on Netflix on 29 October.
