Co Down road closed after three vehicle crash

Police have closed a Co Down road following a three vehicle crash on Wednesday evening.

Motorists who had planned to use the Belfast Road in Bangor are being advised to seek an alternate route for their journey.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised to avoid the Belfast Road, Bangor following a three vehicle collision near the junction of Abbey Street this evening.

"Please seek alternative routes for your journey."

It is unclear at this stage whether anyone has been injured in the crash.
