Co Down collision leaves young motorcyclist dead

A man in his 20s has died following a crash in Co Down yesterday evening.

The Lurgan Road near Dromore was closed following the crash around 6.30pm.

Police said it involved a motorcycle and a silver Toyota Avensis and took place near the Lurgan Road junction with Blackskull Road.

Sadly, the young motorcyclist involved has died.

Inspector Adam Ruston said: "I am appealing for witnesses to contact police.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured mobile phone or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation.

"Please call 101, quoting reference 1313 07/04/20." Co Down
