KOLKATA: The Calcutta High Court on Monday directed the Centre to file an affidavit within two weeks, stating how the aircraft of CM Mamata Banerjee was in trouble during her return trip from Lucknow.
One Biplab Roychoudhuri filed the PIL,asking report from the Centre and an investigation into the matter.
On Monday, Centre’s counsel sought time to the court for receiving instruction of the matter from the government.
The bench of Chief Justice Prakash Shrivastava and Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj then issued the direction to the Centre and fixed the next date of hearing on April 25.
