Clutch your veils and wine glasses ‘cos Stan has announced a Married At First Sight (MAFS) spin-off that’ll drag out the drama we all froth. Welcome, MAFS: After The Dinner Party.
Streaming exclusively on Stan, MAFS: After The Dinner Party will be your one-stop destination for all of the tea following the show’s iconic dinner parties. According to Stan’s press release, MAFS: After The Dinner Party will give viewers access to “immediate participant interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, expert analysis, and fan commentary”. The episodes will be available to stream every week right after the MAFS dinner party, starting February 18.

MAFS: After The Dinner Party hosts announced
Ahead of the show’s launch, Stan has announced that the much-anticipated spin-off will be hosted by Life Uncut podcasters and former Bachelor stars Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne. The duo will be joined by media personality and former TV and radio host Jules Lund as they unpack all the jaw-dropping moments from the season.
“For all those MAFS lovers, this is the extra insight you always wanted,” Hockley said in a statement. “We want to see an even more unfiltered look at what’s really going down and how people are really feeling.
“MAFS has proven to be an important conversation starter, and as much as we love love and highlighting the green flags, there have been hugely controversial and inappropriate moments. The conversations that come from those moments are important in highlighting unacceptable behaviour and what is and isn’t ok in a relationship.”
Byrne added that she’s excited to “get to the bottom” of people blaming the “edit” for how they are portrayed on reality shows.
“MAFS is also a huge platform for showing real-life examples of how people behave in relationships, both good and bad, and I’m looking forward to being able to give my honest thoughts,” she said.
Nine’s Managing Director, Streaming and Broadcast, Amanda Laing, said the spin-off will “extend the MAFS experience in a way that has never been done before”.
“Married at First Sight is a cultural juggernaut, and the conversation and obsession around it is part of the magic. This series will be the ultimate post-dinner debrief, offering our subscribers an exclusive, unfiltered, and unmissable companion that extends the MAFS experience in a way that has never been done before. You won’t want to miss it,” Liang said.
Tara McWilliams, the Director of Content for Endemol Shine Australia (aka the company that produces MAFS), adds the spin-off “will deliver fans a thrilling deep-dive into the MAFS experiment each week, providing an irresistible, must-watch, fly-on-the-wall perspective”.
“This is the ultimate front-row seat to Australia’s biggest social experiment,” McWilliams said.
Say goodbye to your sleep schedule and hello to the drama, because this season of MAFS is definitely going to take over in the best way possible.
Married At First Sight: After The Dinner Party is streaming exclusively on Stan, weekly from Wednesday, February 18.
