PUNE: Iron rods protruding from a trailer entered a PMPML bus carrying 15-16 passengers after shattering its windscreen in the Sahakarnagar area on Monday morning. Luckily, no one was injured.
“The trailer seemed overloaded and while moving up a road, it rolled back and crashed against the PMPML bus. The rods shattered the windscreen,” Dattatraya Zende, the PMPML traffic manager, said. “The owner of the trailer paid PMPML a compensation of Rs 35 lakh. There have been no injuries,” the official said. tnn
