Clinical Pakistan seal 10-wicket victory after skittling Zimbabwe for 57 in second T20I

NEW DELHI: Left-arm wrist spinner Sufiyan Muqeem delivered an exceptional performance, claiming five wickets while conceding just three runs in 2.4 overs, leading Pakistan to a commanding 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the second Twenty20 International in Bulawayo on Tuesday.

With the win, Pakistan secured the three-match T20I series.

Zimbabwe, having chosen to bat first, collapsed to their lowest T20 total of 57 runs in 12.4 overs, falling below their previous lowest of 84 against Sri Lanka in January.

Despite a promising start from Brian Bennett (21) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (16), who accumulated 37 runs in 27 balls, Zimbabwe's innings crumbled dramatically.

They lost their remaining 10 wickets for just 20 runs as Sufiyan devastated their batting lineup.

Pakistan achieved the target effortlessly, with 87 balls remaining. Opening batsmen Saim Ayub (36 off 18 balls) and Omair Yousuf (22 off 15 balls) guided their team to victory, marking Pakistan's most comprehensive win in terms of balls remaining.

Having won the first match by 57 runs, Pakistan sealed the series. The final match is scheduled at the same venue on Thursday.
