A cleaner's TikTok video went viral after she shared the ‘hidden compartment’ which is in toasters that makes them easier to clean. However lots of people had revealed they had never known about the compartment.
As reported by the Daily Record, Professional cleaner Kacie has gathered over 2.2 million views on her video as she hit out at some cleaning 'hacks' shared online. She says: "There are cleaning hacks going around the internet that are not really hacks at all, they make it harder. This week I was sent one. 'Clean your toaster with a hairdryer'. Just tip it in the bin."
In her video, Kacie puts her hand under the toaster and pulls out a tray which collects all the crumbs to empty it - and, bizarrely, it's blowing people's minds.

Before you rush angrily to the comments to rage that this is nothing new and is even written in black and white in the toaster manuals, it turns out that hundreds of people were today years old when they found out. One person commented to say: "There's a TRAY?!?!?!?"
A second said: "Omg I can't believe this. I always stare at it and get annoyed because of all the crumbs."
Another wrote: "Wait? Toasters have trays?"
One hit back to say: "OK I understand ya'll not understanding about some things but, ya'll didn't know about toaster trays??? Like your house could catch on fire."
