CJP threatens to 'sit on protest again'; warns govt over alleged police action against protestors

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Monday warned that it would resume its agitation if police action against student protestors was not halted, alleging that authorities had violated an agreement reached with Centre following the withdrawal of the outfit's nationwide protests.

In a post on X addressed to Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka claimed that "hundreds of students" had been arrested in Bihar and West Bengal, while several others were allegedly being surveilled or harassed in Delhi and other states. He also alleged that volunteers providing logistical support to protestors in the national capital were being detained.
