City centre Starbucks suddenly closes

A Bristol-based Starbucks looks like it has shut up shop.

The coffee outlet in Wine Street, near Castle Park, lies empty.

The brand's world famous name has been taken from the front and the inside has been stripped bare.

And at the moment there are no clues as to what's happening because no information is being offered at the site.

Bristol Live has messaged Starbucks' press people who cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Looks like they enjoying the weekend, though, as we have not heard back.
