The Cincinnati Bengals have finally announced their long-awaited Ring of Honor.
Cincinnati announced the move Thursday and listed the following description on the team’s website along with a video:
“The Bengals Ring of Honor celebrates the legendary individuals throughout Bengals history. Their legacies live on through stories and highlights in our Archives. The inductee’s names will hang forever on the façade inside Paul Brown Stadium.”
Back in February, it looked like the Bengals had accidentally leaked the upcoming Ring of Honor based on some of the new names around Paul Brown Stadium.
The included video in the announcement makes sure to focus on Boomer Esiason, Chad Johnson, Ken Anderson, Ken Riley, Anthony Munoz and Paul Brown with their names on cards that say “automatic induction.”
The website also says that two more inductees will be selected by season ticket members.
The important next step is now here for the franchise after a long, long wait.
