Christmas opening times for Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Lidl and other major supermarkets

Scots shoppers are frantically running up and down supermarket aisles to pick up their last minute Christmas essentials.

Massive supermarket chains such as Aldi, Lidl and Tesco will be closed at certain times over the festive period.

That leaves many worried hosts and hostesses in a panic over their big Christmas food shop, or buying any Boxing Day bits, the Mirror reports.

We've put together a full list of when Scotland's biggest supermarket chains will be open over the next few days.

Whether you need to pick up some Prosecco or turkey seasoning, there's plenty on offer at the UK's supermarket chains.

Aldi

Aldi has announced that all stores will be open as usual on Christmas Eve. Visit their website for full details.

Lidl
