Christine McGuinness says she's being 'hunted' and is 'on the run' as she breaks social media silence

Christine McGuinness has revealed she's 'on the run' and is being 'hunted' in a new update after breaking social media silence. Taking to her Instagram Story after keeping a low profile for several days, the model and TV star revealed that she is currently taking part in Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted.

The mum-of-three shared with her 711k followers that she is working alongside Blue singer Duncan James as the pair attempt to avoid being captured by the show's hunters - in a bid to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. Below mugshots of the two, the word 'wanted' could be seen, followed by: "Have you seen these celebrity fugitives?"

The appeal continues: "Contact us via Whatsapp on 07596 558501. A reward maybe offered for information leading to a capture."

It added: "Please note: Duncan James and Christine McGuinness are voluntarily "on the run" as part of a Channel 4 television series. They are not missing and have not committed a crime. Please do not attempt to approach or apprehend them".

The social media update comes after the Real Housewives of Cheshire star announced last month that she would be taking a break from her accounts in a "low-key" lifestyle change. Explaining her decision to her fans, she wrote: "Time for a little digital detox.

"In a world of algorithms, hashtags and followers, I really want to embrace the true importance of human connection and go back to basics for a bit. I am very happy and healthy, I’m just ready to embrace switching off, being present and living low key for a while."

Celebrity Hunted will see Christine, along with other celebs, attempt to stay off the radar and remain at large for two weeks as a new crack team of hunters try to find them. With former police officers, intelligence, and army personnel hot on their tail and faces recognisable across the UK, viewers will watch on as they try to remain undetected.

Fans of the Channel 4 show have commented on Christine and Duncan's involvement on the show, with some claiming to have spotted them out and about already. Sam1975house replied: "Castle Combe yesterday."

Lukaastolic wrote: "Saw them at lands end." Shannon_warlow88 claimed: "Just saw them in Portsmouth! Southsea beach." Lukeyaber joked: "It would be nice suddenly meeting him out of the blue...."
