Christine McGuinness forced to explain railway snap before stunning in bikini at her and Paddy's Cheshire home

Christine McGuinness has responded to her followers' angry messages after she was slammed for appearing on a railway track in a behind-the-scenes snap of her latest TV gig. After a period of social media silence, the model returned to social media this week with an update.

Taking to her Instagram Story last week after keeping a low profile for several days, the model and TV star revealed that she is currently taking part in Channel 4's Celebrity Hunted. The mum-of-three shared with her 711k followers that she is working alongside Blue singer Duncan James as the pair attempt to avoid being captured by the show's hunters - in a bid to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

And on Monday (June 4) Christine officially returned to social media and confirmed what had really been going on. Appearing in the sprawling back garden of her Cheshire home, which she still shares with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star stunned in a pink-ombre bikini.

Talking directly to the camera, Christine said: "I've got my phone back, it's me!" She explained how she had been taking part in the latest series of Celebrity Hunted but said she couldn't tell her fans "too much right now". She added: "I can't wait for you all to see what I've been up to."

She also took to her main Instagram grid with a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from filming the show of herself and Duncan. "Fugitives forever @mrduncanjames," she started the caption of her post. I'm very proud of us, I can’t wait for you all to watch the next series of #CelebrityHunted @hunted_hq @channel4.

"For now I can’t share anything else. I will say, it’s been emotional. All to support @su2cuk." But the first image showing the pair walking away from the camera on a railway track sparked concern.

One follower raged: "Why the f**k are you walking on a railway line regardless of whether there are trains running or not!!" Another said: "@mrscmcguinness hope that railway was closed to rail traffic these are dangerous places."

A third replied: "So glad someone picked up on it. @mrscmcguinness its a great picture but it also adds to the allure to others that walking on the railway is a lovely thing to do when in reality its so dangerous and could result in life changing injuries or even death."

But addressing the safety fears, responding the first comment made, Christine typed: "Don’t worry. It’s a disused railway track hired out for location shoots."

Meanwhile, Christine put on a sizzling bikini display as she modelled her own brand, We Are Her. The mum-of-three could be seen posing in her garden in the two-piece and a matching sarong as she tied her blonde tresses up before letting them back down while showcasing her sensational gym-honed figure.

The bikini-clad clip came as Christine was forced to address her 'new look'. Many of Christine's followers were left in disbelief as she took to Instagram last week following an 'extreme makeover' and were left asking what she had done to herself after the "modification" made her look like she had some serious cosmetic work done to her face.

In the now-deleted snap, Christine was almost unrecognisable as the photo was altered to give her large, asymmetrical lips, plumped up cheeks and exaggerated makeup. The caption read: "Just been to Golden Modification Aesthetics thanks for the great work!”

Fans were stunned and were left pleading with the Blackpool native in the comments to reverse the procedures and “get your money back”. But with her phone firmly back in her possession, Christine explained: "Just one thing to confirm; whilst I’ve been away the cheeky hunters did hack into my Instagram.

"They were the ones who done the post of THAT picture, you know what I mean, it’s an AI image or something. But yeah it wasn’t me, so I’m sorry if that confused anyone. It was a naughty tactic to try and get me to go online so they could figure out my location but I didn’t do it."
