Christine Lampard's 'best piece of advice ever' to husband Frank

Frank Lampard has revealed the best piece of advice he has ever received.

Appearing on The Overlay's 29 Questions with Gary Neville on Thursday, the former Chelsea football manager said the best advice he received was from his wife Christine.

Speaking about the Newtownards TV presenter, he said: "It was actually when I got offered a Derby job and I wasn't sure whether to take it and Christine said to me that her thing is, 'jump and the net will appear'.

"So you know, take the chance and the net will catch you in the end.

"And I remember her saying and I still - at that time I've realised like it's a bit cold, a bit cheesy - and I was like, 'yeah right'.

"But having done it, it was one of the best things I did, so I'll take that as good advice."

Also this week, Christine and Frank were spotted out at a star-studded event in London.

They were both seen at Kelly Hoppen's CBE party at Langan's Brasserie on November 23 - with Phillip Scofield, Amanda Holden, Alan Carr, Boy George, Ronan Keating and Ashley Roberts also in attendance.
