Christina Aguilera at Liverpool M&S Bank Arena: set times, support act, banned items and more

Christina Aguilera is bringing her UK to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena tonight.

Following the release of her new single Pa Mis Muchachas, she will be performing at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena this evening, along with support act Union J. Having sold over 43 million records worldwide, and achieving five number one singles, Christina Aguilera is one of the biggest and most recognised solo female artists in the world.

With more than three billion YouTube views and five number one US singles, she is the fourth female artist to top the charts over three consecutive decades. Her latest album is a "much anticipated return" to her Latin roots and includes Spanish-language music.

Below we’ve taken a look at everything you’ll need to know ahead of seeing Christina Aguilera in Liverpool tonight.

Start and finish time for Christina Aguilera

Doors: 6.30pm

Show starts: 8pm

Approx finish: 10.30pm

Show timings are subject to change and are approximate only. Visitors are encouraged to arrive promptly to avoid any long queues and to ensure you don't miss any of the show.

Support act

Union J will be supporting Christina Aguilera tonight. They will be performing with songs such as Carry You, Beautiful Life, Tonight' and You Got It All.

Set list

While the full set list isn’t yet known, Christina is expected to perform songs such as Dirrty, Ain’t No Other Man, Fighter, Genie in a Bottle and many more.

Safety and security

There are a number of security protocols and measures in place at the M&S Bank Arena, including walk-through metal detectors, bag searches, ticket and pass checks. You may also see police officers on site and sniffer dogs as part of a broader series of security and customer service checks.

Visitors are asked not to bring bags with them into the venue. However, if a bag is necessary, one small bag no larger than A4 is allowed. More information can be found here .

How to collect tickets

If you opted for E-Tickets, ensure you have your bar coded PDF E-Ticket ready to show to speed up entry. Your E-Ticket will be attached to your booking confirmation email sent from tickets@ticketquarter.co.uk . You can print your E-Tickets at home in advance or show them on your mobile device.

The M&S Bank Arena’s on site box office is open from 12pm on the day of the event. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to collect tickets in order to avoid queueing and to ensure any possible issues can be resolved in a timely manner.

Food and drink

The arena will be operating a food and drink service at kiosks where only contactless payment will be accepted. The arena serves a range of food, snacks and drinks.

Banned items

  • Glass, cans, aluminium bottles or thermoses of any kind including liquid products which can be consumed.

  • Flammable liquids in any container

  • Laser pens/pointers

  • Fireworks/ Flares/ Pyrotechnics

  • Smoke Bombs

  • Video cameras, recording devices and professional cameras

  • Laptop computers, iPads, Go Pro’s or tablets with filming and recording capabilities

  • Large/golf/metal tipped umbrellas

  • Knives or weapons of any kind

  • Illegal drugs or substances

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks

  • Animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities)

  • Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other noise-making distractions

  • Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc.)

  • Aerosol cans (hairspray, deodorant etc.)

  • Fireworks, confetti or glitter bombs or sprays

  • Balloons

  • Use of wheeled footwear, skateboards

  • Food

  • Masks and helmets

  • Large studs and chains
