Chris Kamara pokes fun at former Black Cats boss Roy Keane

Chris Kamara has recall the time he poked fun at former Sunderland manager Roy Keane.

The Sky Sports commentator was staying in a hotel in London while Keane was there with his squad for a fixture.

The Black Cats were struggling in the Premier League with the former Manchester United man at the helm.

Kamara bumped into Keane in a lift as the pair made their way to the ground floor.

Speaking to the Peter Crouch podcast, Kamara said: "He was manager at Sunderland and I was in the Marriott Hotel in Cromwell Road, Kensington.

"We used to stay there when we were doing Sky - we don't anymore. So, I get in the lift on the fourth floor down to the ground floor.

"Third floor it stops. Roy Keane walks in. Sunderland were struggling at the time and you know what it's like in the lift.

"The lady goes 'Going down.'

"I said 'I think she's talking to you Roy.

"To be fair he looked up and didn't give me the glare. I could see a glimmer of a smirk."
