Chris and Rosie Ramsey's BBC show coming 'very soon' as couple film six part series

Fans of Chris and Rosie Ramsey have been left delighted by the news that their new BBC show will start in the very near future.

The South Shields couple were both very excited when they first let the cat out of the bag on their new TV project in November last year. Appearing on The One Show, Rosie said: "So next year, Chris and I are doing our own TV show on the BBC!"

Reacting to the news, host and former Newcastle United midfielder Jermaine asked: "Based on the podcast?" to which Chris explained: "An extension of the podcast. Basically a chat show; so we're going to be interviewing celebs; we'll be chatting to the public as well. We're going to be doing different things."

Well now BBC bosses have announced that The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show will be coming to BBC2 and iPlayer in mid-May. The brand new six-part series will see the always, always startlingly honest pair, who have the number 1 podcast in the country with Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed, joined each week by a celebrity couple to poke fun at life; growing up, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting and everything in between.

With a host of other regular features and big star guests, The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show promises late-night laughs and plenty of chances for viewers to get involved. Plus, of course, they’ll be asking the question that kick-started a thousand relationship re-evaluations… WHAT’S YOUR BEEF?" One celeb coupled definitely taking part in the show are Vicky Pattison and her now fiancé Ercan Ramadan, after Vicky revealed last week that they'd been in to film with Chris and Rosie.

Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed. has seen over 100 million downloads to date, it spawned a Sunday Times best-selling book and, in the run up to Christmas, broke the Guinness world record for the biggest live podcast show. Their tour also saw Chris and Rosie sell out the iconic London Palladium and Newcastle's Utliita Arena twice over two consecutive nights.

The show has won multiple awards including Channel 4’s National Comedy Award for Best Podcast, Global’s Best Podcast Award and the British Podcast Listeners’ Choice Award.
