Were you planning on sleeping tonight? Well, like it or not, Choo-Choo Charles is here to ensure that doesn’t happen.
This open-world indie horror title from developer Two Star Games is about an eldritch tank engine that wants to feast on your innards. The train is also part spider because of course it is.
Choo-Choo Charles came out of nowhere earlier this week when an announcement trailer from Two Star Games went viral. Charles, the titular cursed-as-heck tank engine, is terrorizing an island community by… eating everyone. Thankfully you’ll have a train of your own with a mounted machine gun to (hopefully) save islanders before they all end up as train food. Despite the weird premise, Choo-Choo Charles looks quite well put together.

Choo-Choo Charles doesn’t have a release date yet, though its Steam page lists a vague “Q1 2022.” So the game might be out around January, February, or March of next yet. Plenty of time for you to work up some semblance of courage for this surprisingly unsettling premise.
