Chocolate lovers rejoice - Sainsbury's is launching Lindt Lindor pick 'n' mix

There are many things to love about Christmas from the adorable adverts, to spending time with family.

But the food is arguably the best thing about the festive period.

And now Lindt is trumping all other Christmas food phenomenons by launching a pick'n'mix stands.

The chocolate stations will launch in Sainsbury's stores across the country next month.

Unfortunately they won't be coming to Nottingham - but they might in the future.

The new help yourself chocolate stations were first spotted by shopper Shelly Harman, who shared pictures of her exciting new find with a popular Facebook group, ManchesterEveningNews reports.

Shelly said she had found the pick 'n' mix station in the Godalming Surrey store.

Reacting to Shelly's post, shoppers seemed excited, with almost 2,000 people commenting - many of whom were asking if they could expect to find something similar in their local Sainsbury's store.

Now the supermarket has confirmed that the Lindor stands will be popping up in 72 stores from next month - just in time for Christmas.

The supermarket confirmed that a roll-out is set to begin in December following a successful trial in five stores earlier this year.

The retailer has said that 67 more stands will open nationwide by 2 December, on top of the five existing trial stores.

Prices will start at £3 for 8 Lindt balls, and will go up to £5 for 14 balls, or £10 for 28 balls.
