An event that never fails to warm the cockles, Christmas at Beamish will return for 2019 and we now know the dates for this year.
We are still just about clinging onto summer after some marvellous weather over August Bank Holiday, but will autumn now on the doorstep, it will soon be time to think even further ahead and start planning for Christmas.
and one that always sells out almost as soon as tickets go on sale is Christmas at Beamish Museum .
If you haven't been before, make this the year you delve into Christmas past from Georgian times right the way through to the 1950s.
Indulge yourself with roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and entertainment. Experience Beamish’s first 1950s Christmas in the new welfare hall.
Take a turn on a real, outdoor ice rink and sideshows, and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate.
Treat yourself to something special amongst the delightful decorations, traditional trinkets and festive food at our Christmas bazaar in The 1900s Town park.
Be entertained with Georgian music, dancing, food and Twelfth Night Celebrations at Pockerley Old Hall.
Christmas at Beamish Dates
Christmas Evenings will take place on December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.
Ticket prices
Adult £14, Child (2-16 years) £9, Grotto entry £6 (0-16 years).
Grotto tickets must be purchased prior to your visit. No Grotto tickets will be on sale during the event.
To visit Father Christmas a valid Christmas Evening entry ticket must be purchased as well as a Grotto entry ticket.
Under 2s do not require a ticket to enter the museum but will require a Grotto entry ticket if they wish to visit Father Christmas.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Tuesday, September 3.

What else is on at Beamish for Christmas?
As well as the separate evening events, Christmas at Beamish will run daily at the museum from 10am - 4pm daily from November 16 to December 24.
You can visit the Beamish Bazaar, Winter Funfair and Santa's Grotto - tickets can be purchased on the day.
