BEIJING -- Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Tuesday did not confirm or deny allegations that a hacking group believed to be linked to the Chinese military had launched cyber-attacks against the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and other Japanese organizations.
Speaking at a regular press conference, Wang said he was "not aware of the relevant circumstances."
Wang expressed displeasure over the allegations, saying: "Investigations into cyber-attacks should be based on sufficient evidence, not idle speculation. We firmly oppose attempts to take advantage of cyber-attacks to slander China."
