Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has suffered an injury in Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos.
Mahomes lined up on a fourth-and-short situation near the goal-line, he took the ball on a quarterback sneak. The Chiefs were able to convert but as they peeled away the pile, it revealed the worst possible situation for Kansas City. Mahomes couldn’t get up as they peeled away the pile and suffered an apparent lower-body injury.
On replay, it almost appeared as they needed to pop Mahomes’ kneecap back into place. Mahomes was clearly in a lot of pain on the field. He was able to walk off the field under his own power and seemed to be more confident with each step.
