Patrick Mahomes made enough highlight-reel throws in one season to last most great quarterbacks an entire career. As a Chiefs fan, my purchase of DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket quickly felt like my best investment ever.
Literally every week Mahomes made throws most have never seen any other quarterback make, and the fact that I’m not exaggerating is remarkable. He is some sort of quarterback savant.
Therefore, it was not easy to choose the 10 best throws Mahomes made during the 2018 season. But since that sounded like a worthy endeavor, I took it upon myself to watch as much tape of last season as possible. Of course, I loved every minute.

After I published this list on Twitter, I was reminded of so many other throws I could have included, in particular Mahomes’ ridiculous throw against San Francisco. Here he scrambled like a crazy man to get some open space. Then he throw an absolute rope, between defenders, to Chris Conley in the corner of the end zone.
It was such a pleasure to watch throws like this during the 2018 season, and I think I speak for all Chiefs fans when I say that I look forward to watching hundreds of more throws like these during the years to come.
