The Chicago Bears (3-3) and Los Angeles Chargers (2-5) have a lot in common. Well, at least they share an increasing frustration for two teams that were both in the playoffs last season and considered to be playoff contenders this season.
The frustrating thing for both is that the talent is there, but there are some injuries and issues that are clearly affecting the teams. The Bears are without prized defensive tackle Akiem Hicks for at least the next seven weeks and the Chargers are practically missing an entire secondary to injury.
But the Chargers still have some players that give them a chance to sink the dagger even deeper into the Bears’ disappointing 2019 season. Names like Philip Rivers and Joey Bosa spring to mind.
