March 16--Reports that Martin Scorsese will film the Grateful Dead during their sold-out concerts at Soldier Field, have been denied.

The news came via The Daily Beast, which reported that the July shows "will be filmed by none other than Martin Scorsese, who helmed arguably the greatest concert film of all-time in 'The Last Waltz.'"

Amir Bar-Lev (who examined life at Penn State post-Sandusky in the 2014 documentary "Happy Valley") and is working on a Dead documentary told the Tribune via email:

"They misreported. We're not planning on it!" wrote the director.
