Chicago Bulls will host remote training camp in Nashville, Tennessee

After losing in the Play-In Tournament last season, the Chicago Bulls entered the summer looking to improve. While some believe they should have torn down the roster in favor of a rebuild, they took the opposite approach, adding multiple veterans to round out their roster. Now, they’ll be looking to push for the postseason.

However, before the season begins, the Bulls will host a remote training camp at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, for five days. They’ll head to Nashville after media day on October 2 and will be back in Chicago for their preseason opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on October 8.

According to KC Johnson of NBC Chicago, the destination of Nashville was “picked with input from players and coaches and finalized by management.”

Chicago doesn’t have too many players who will need to be integrated into the team, as they are bringing back a very similar squad to the one they rolled out last year. They re-signed Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, and Ayo Dosunmu.

That said, they did welcome in a few new guys. They signed Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig in free agency and added rookies Julian Phillips and Adama Sanogo as well.

Heading to Nashville for a week should give the Bulls a chance to build chemistry and get to know one another before the start of the year.

And with the team’s lack of desire to enter a rebuild, they’ll need to make some huge strides this season, as the rest of the Eastern Conference made big improvements ahead of them.
