RAIPUR: Two youths were killed while a girl was severely injured in an accident after a bus rammed the scooty on Raipur-Jagdalpur National Highway-30 of Chhattisgarh.
The deceased were identified as Santu Netam (30) and Mangtu Netam (25), both residents of Godma village. Both of them along with a young woman were heading towards Kondagaon on a scooty when a speeding bus hit the scooty near Jugani bridge on the National Highway.
The incident was so dreadful that the trio on the scooty blew up and fell far away, said the police. People around then informed the police station. The matter took place in the Farasgaon police station area. After the incident, Mangtu died immediately on the spot whereas Sangtu and the woman were critically injured, said the police. People present nearby called 108. Both the injured were sent to Kondagaon district hospital for treatment. On reaching the hospital Santu was also declared dead. The girl's treatment is still going on in the hospital. After this case, the police caught the accused bus driver and a case was registered against him. TNN
