Chhaava advance box office collection: Vicky Kaushal starrer sees boost in advance ticket sales; hits Rs 5 crore mark

The much-anticipated historical film Chhaava is off to an impressive start ahead of its theatrical release on February 14. With just days to go, the film has already crossed the Rs 5 crore mark in advance bookings, setting high expectations for its box office performance.

According to Sacnilk.com, the movie saw a significant boost in advance bookings on Monday. The Hindi 2D version has already amassed Rs 4.06 crore, while additional formats contributed Rs 12.53 lakh from IMAX 2D, Rs 4.08 lakh from 4DX, and Rs 1.53 lakh from ICE format. The total all-India collection from ticket sales currently stands at Rs 4.25 crore, with blocked seats pushing the overall total to Rs 5.41 crore.

The film has reportedly sold over 2 lakh tickets for 6,540 shows across India, setting the stage for a strong opening at the box office.

As part of the promotional tour, lead actors Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings. Sharing his experience, Kaushal penned a heartfelt note on Instagram, stating, "There’s something about #SriHarmandirSahib! The peace, the divinity, the power of prayer. As we bring #Chhaava to the world, I hope it reflects even a fraction of the strength and devotion this sacred place inspires. Rabb meher bakshe. Satnam Waheguru."

Prior to this, Vicky Kaushal commenced promotions by seeking blessings in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s city, offering prayers to Lord Shiva at the Shri Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava features Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika as Maharani Yesubai. The film is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s renowned Marathi novel Chhava.

Set for a grand release on Friday, Chhaava is expected to face a box office clash with Hollywood’s Captain America: Brave New World. With strong pre-release momentum, the historical epic is poised for a powerful debut.
