Chelsea take on Reading this afternoon in their fifth pre-season match of the summer and the only one that they will play in England.

The Blues have had a mixed summer in terms of results, however their 2-1 win at the Saitama Stadium against Barcelona showed some real positives and they will want to keep that momentum.

Frank Lampard has shown a lot of flexibility when it comes his formation over the course of the summer, and he will be looking to adapt his side into the way that he wants them to play.

With just three matches left before the opening match against Manchester United on August 11, Lampard is going to have to build on the momentum.

For Reading, this is their final pre-season match of the summer before their Championship campaign gets under way next week against Sheffield Wednesday.
