Chelsea slammed as pundit makes honest Nottingham Forest admission

Former Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has slammed his old side's performance against Nottingham Forest.

The game ended 1-1 with Raheem Sterling and Serge Aurier both on the scoresheet. Graham Potter's side were fortunate not to come away empty handed after encountering a more aggressive Reds' side in the second half.

Chelsea have struggled to be clinical in front of goal, and are one of the teams to have scored the fewest goals this season (20). The former Blues striker Hasselbaink highlighted the lack of chances created by the visitors which cost them in the end.

"It was far from good enough from Chelsea," ex-Forest coach Hasselbaink said post-match. "You know at 1-0 up Forest will do something different, and you need to be able to deal with that.

"What really worries me is that they don’t create chances. You have to come here and win. It doesn’t matter how, you need to come here, bottom of the league, and win.

"And if you draw, the best player on the pitch has to be Dean Henderson, and that wasn’t the case. It's bad defending from Chelsea. Everyone's looking at the ball and forgetting about Aurier."
