Chelsea second half player ratings: Gilmour, Giroud & Palmer shine, but Bakayoko poor

Jamie Cumming

Tested even less than Caballero was in the first half, and can't really remember a time he had to use his hands. 5

Cesar Azpilicueta

Looked to get involved in the play high up the pitch, but didn't make too much of an impact. Defensively not really tested particularly. 5

Kurt Zouma

A pretty comforable afternoon for him, not really tested at the back and everything that he did was done with a real ease. 6

Andreas Christensen

His first run out and he will certainly get more tests over the next few weeks. A good connection with Zouma, but not really given much of a challenge. 6

Marcos Alonso

Enjoyed being high up the pitch and did well at times to link up with Kenedy and the other attacking players. Didn't have too much influence over the 45 minutes, however. 6

Tiemoue Bakayoko

A player that really needs to make an impression, but he just looked short of confidence again. Shown up by 18-year-old Billy Gilmour in midfield, which isn't a great sign. 4

Billy Gilmour

Carried on from Wednesday and just oozed confidence once again. Playing deeper, always looking to get on the ball and showed a lot of energy. Another impressive 45 minutes. 8

Pedro

Looked more comfortable with Giourd as the top man, bouncing off him well and running in behind like he does so well. However, couldn't make it count when he got the chances. 6

Kasey Palmer

Playing more central than on Wednesday and showed what he could do on the ball. More in the action, and he showed some good link up with the striker and getting involved. 7

Kenedy

A lot more influential back in the normal winger position. A lovely ball over for Giroud's goal and he looked to have more confidence out on the wing. 7

Olivier Giroud

A big chance for him to claim the main spot, and he showed his skills with good link up play and a fine finish to get the third goal and then an even better one for the fourth. Impressive from the Frenchman. 8
