Chelsea news: Cristiano Ronaldo transfer decision made as Raheem Sterling arrives in London

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel made a final decision on whether to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer.

The Portuguese ace has asked to leave the Old Trafford club in order to play for a side capable of winning the Champions League next season. New Blues owner Todd Boehly held talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and had been considering an extraordinary bid to sign the former Real Madrid and Juventus star.

But Tuchel appears to have put the brakes on the move. It comes as Raheem Sterling has been pictured arriving in London to complete his move to the Blues.

And Romelu Lukaku has been told he "flops in crucial games" by former Premier League star Paolo di Canio.
