Chelsea fans will love what Carlo Ancelotti said about Estevao after Brazil goal

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti lavished praise on young star Estevao after the Chelsea forward scored for his country on Saturday evening.

The teenage winger opened the scoring for Brazil at the Emirates Stadium as Senegal were handed their first defeat in more than two years.

The match proved anything but friendly, though, with several rough challenges flying in two notable injury scares after Arsenal's Gabriel and Tottenham's Pape Matar Sarr were forced off.

Manchester United's Matheus Cunha twice hit the woodwork before Chelsea's Estevao broke the deadlock.

Casemiro's through-ball deflected off a Senegal defender and into the path of Estevao, who find the inside of the far post with a near left-footed finish.

Casemiro doubled his country's lead minutes later, finishing off a Rodrygo free kick.

It was Ancelotti's fourth win in six games in charge on the South American giants and showed glimpses of veteran coach's influence on the team with improved defensive shape leading to a welcome clean sheet.

But it was the attack at the centre of discussion after the game, and Ancelotti admitted he continues to be surprised at the level teenager Estevao is reaching.

"Estevao has incredible amount of talent," Ancelotti told reporters at the Emirates.

"It’s a surprise this level at his age. He’s good at finishing, has a lot of magic ... and he works very hard."

He added: “I can say this: with Estevao, Brazil have a guaranteed future."

Brazil are next in action on Tuesday when they take on Tunisia in Lille.
