Chelsea are yet to announce the appointment of Frank Lampard as the club's new head coach.
And it's prompting all sorts of reactions from supporters on social media.
It has been reported that Lampard has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal to seal a return to Stamford Bridge but why has it taken so long for the deal to be announced?
Well, one possible reason was explained by Derby County owner, Mel Morris, when he spoke to talkSPORT about the deal.
"You could say that [they have had plenty of time] but in fairness, Frank was away on vacation, he didn't come back until Friday," Morris explained.
"A well-deserved vacation, it was a pretty tough season. I think that has been a big factor."
Another reason is a lot more hilarious than that.
One Chelsea fan believes the club may not announce Lampard today due to the problems affecting many social networking sites in recent hours.
A tweet read: "Chelsea not announcing Lampard today because 2 major social media platforms are down?"
Whatever the reason for the delay is, fans will be hoping for an announcement before many of the first-team squad report back to Cobham for pre-season training on Friday.
It is shaping up to be a busy summer for Lampard.
The Blues with seven matches in total over five countries, with the first taking place a week today (July 10) in Dublin against Bohemians FC, culminating with a clash against Borussia Monchengladbach on August 3.
