Check out these highlights of new Broncos TE Nick Vannett

The Broncos agreed to terms on a two-year deal with former Seahawks and Steelers tight end Nick Vannett earlier this week. Here are some highlights from Vannett’s career before he landed in Denver.

Vannett (6-6, 261 pounds) is a 27-year-old veteran who is entering his fifth season in the NFL. Vannett will likely serve as the team’s No. 2 tight end this season, teaming up with promising second-year tight end Noah Fant.

Vannett has caught 61 passes for 591 yards and four touchdowns in his career. In Seattle and Pittsburgh, he was used primarily as a blocking tight end.

The arrival of Vannett might be a sign that Denver is planning to move on from Jeff Heuerman. The Broncos might try to trade Heuerman during the weekend of the draft and if they are unable to find a trade partner, the team might end up releasing Heuerman, a former third-round pick.
